Human embryonic stem cells have drawn great attention due to their great potential in the field of transplantation medicine. If human embryonic stem cells can be successfully applied in clinic, it will provide a steady stream of donor for organ transplantation and gene therapy. Recent research has laid a solid foundation for the application of human embryonic stem cells.
