Objective To investigate the effect of predictive nursing in preventing the occlusion of deep venous catheter during chemotherapy. Methods 100 patients with deep vein catheterization chemotherapy were randomly divided into intervention group and control group, 50 cases each. The intervention group was given predictive nursing intervention and the control group was given routine care. The incidence of deep vein catheter occlusion in both groups was compared. Results In the intervention group, 1 case was completely blocked, 3 cases partially blocked, and the total blockage was 8.0%. In the control group, 6 cases were completely blocked, 7 cases partially blocked, and the total blockage was 26.0%. The total blockage rate in the control group was significantly higher than that in the intervention group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions In the course of nursing the patients receiving infusion of chemotherapy drugs through deep vein catheterization, the concept of predictive nursing intervention was used to detect the hypercoagulable state promptly and to reduce the incidence of deep vein catheter blockage. Worthy of clinical application.
