不同的炮制方法可以影响藤黄的抗菌活性和细胞毒作用。其中高压炮制的藤黄对金黄色葡萄球菌和肿瘤细胞的杀伤作用最强。高压炮制的最佳条件是１２６℃，３０ｍｉｎ。
