上扬的嘴角、微笑的脸庞,这是一张俊秀的面孔。清脆的话语、爽朗的笑声,她是个乐观向上的人。她就是苏珊·萨布莉亚·坦芭肯,一位盲人。她在西藏开办了第一所盲人学校,她自己设计了藏语盲文。她获得了2006年中国政府颁发的“友谊奖”。作为在颁奖典礼上发言的两名获奖专家代表之一,她的发言打动了在场的所有中外宾客。第二天,国务院总理温家宝在接见“友谊奖”获奖专家时,专门来到她的身边向她问候。她幸福地说:“虽然我眼睛看不到总理,但是我在心里看到了。”
Rose mouth, smile face, this is a handsome face. Crisp discourse, hearty laughter, she is a optimistic person. She is Susan Sapia Tambaugh, a blind man. She started her first blind school in Tibet, designing her own Braille. She won the 2006 Friendship Award from the Chinese government. As one of the two award-winning experts who spoke at the awards ceremony, her speech impressed all Chinese and foreign guests present. The next day, when Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council met with the award-winning expert of the Friendship Award, she specially came to her to greet her. She said happily: “I do not see the Prime Minister in my eyes, but I see it in my heart.”
