《矿产保护与利用》创刊于1981年,是由国土资源部矿产开发管理司指导、中国地质科学院郑州矿产综合利用研究所主办,国家金属矿产资源综合利用工程技术研究中心(北京)、国家非金属矿资源综合利用工程技术研究中心、中国选矿科技信息网、国土资源部信息中心协办的全国性矿业科技期刊;是中国科技核心期刊、中国科技论文统计源期刊,也是《中国学术期刊(光盘版)》、《中国期刊网》、《中国核心期刊(遴选)数
