高职教育以“能力本位”作为培养人才的原则。就英语教学而言,其教学目标不应仅仅是培养学生的外语语言能力,而且还应当培养学生的跨文化交流的技能和能力,也就是说要以培养学生的语言实际应用能力为本位。本文主要论述了在高职英语教学环境中,应强调提高学生的跨文化语用意识,培养他们的跨文化交际能力,从而达到提高学生英语实际应用能力的目的。
Higher vocational education regards “ability standard ” as the principle of cultivating talents. As far as English teaching is concerned, its teaching goal should not only be to cultivate students’ foreign language ability, but also to cultivate students’ skills and abilities of intercultural communication, that is to say, to cultivate students’ practical ability of language. This article mainly discusses that in the environment of vocational English teaching, students should emphasize their intercultural and pragmatic awareness and cultivate their intercultural communicative competence so as to achieve the purpose of improving students’ practical ability in English.
