当代艺术,除了可以按“当下”这个时间界定外,另一种本质意义的界定是指艺术作品是否具有鲜明的问题意识,是否具有质疑现实、警醒世人的先锋性。就后一种定义而言,当代艺术的先锋性注定了它与大多数人审美需求的错位,它必定走在大多数人的审美需求之前,否则其先锋性质就无从谈起。由于这个逻辑,在当代艺术的欣赏群体中,大众阶层的审美需求由此被阻隔。
In addition to being able to define the time of “present ”, contemporary art is defined by the definition of another essential meaning as whether a work of art has a distinctive sense of question and whether it has the avant-garde of questioning the reality and arousing the world. In terms of the latter definition, the avant-garde of contemporary art is destined to be misplaced by the aesthetic needs of the majority. It must go before most people’s aesthetic needs, or its avant-garde character can not be discussed. Because of this logic, in the appreciation group of contemporary art, the aesthetic needs of the mass class are thus blocked.
