《结构振动理论》是翁智远教授多年来从事结构振动研究工作和几十年从事大学生和研究生结构动力学和板壳动力学教学基础上而编写的专著。特别是近年来作者在板壳动力学方面做了大量研究工作,并获得可喜成果。该书已由同济大学出版社于1988年4月出版,全书共计49万字。本书介绍结构与结构部件的振动特性及计算方法,全书共分为四章,前两章首先从离散体系开始,阐明了结构振动的基本物理特性,然后介绍连续体系最简单的一维振动问题,即杆与杆系的振动。本书重点是在后面两章,着重介绍板与壳的振动、面结构(板、壳)与介质(如水、土壤)间的互相作用问题,内容翔实,安排紧凑,是一本体系新颖的专著。该书有以下一些特点:
