安徽博物院的展厅里有这样一件青铜器,它高35.7厘米、口径60厘米、重28.6千克,看上去很像一个大盆,这就是我们称为“鉴(jiàn)”的器物。鉴在古代的作用可多着呢:1.作为一种大型的盛水器,用来盛水。2.当铜镜还没有广泛应用时,人们就用装满水的陶鉴当镜子,于是我们的汉语中便出现了“鉴定”“鉴赏”、油光可鉴“等词语。3.古代的冰箱。在鉴的底部放上冰块,再把罐装的酒和食物等放进去冰镇,在夏天饮食,可口舒爽,相当于现代的冰箱。4.大的鉴还可以用来沐浴,也就是浴缸啦!”吴王光
