文房的壁面自然少不了张挂书画作品;闲坐文房时也少不了展玩书画卷、册。书画是文房最重要的内容,且不说在文房进行小品书画创作,题跋眉批,各类雅玩其实都是围绕书画展开的。书画范围极其广泛而庞杂,类同于瓷器杂项,即便专撰一书,也难言尽。如此庞杂的书画,适合于文房张挂、赏玩的自然不少,此处仅就常见常识者言之。通常所言文房书画大体有两类,一类古代书画,一类包括自家书画在内的当代作品。对于古书画,文震亨的《长物志》、屠隆的《考槃馀事》等皆有详论。其中《长物志》载:“金生于山,珠产于渊,取
