Endometriosis may cause infertility. Gametopis Transplantation (GIFT) has been used in the treatment of infertile women with at least one side of the normal fallopian tube of endometriosis. Modern studies suggest that ascites in women with endometriosis may contain factors that interfere with sperm survival, egg retrieval, fertilization and embryogenesis. To understand if gamete exposure reduces the pregnancy rate of GIFT in women with peritoneal exposure to endometriosis, the authors conducted case-control studies of newly diagnosed endometriosis with or without endometriosis Comparison of pregnancy and delivery rates of pregnant women after GIFT.
