官庄地处雪峰山深处,山势雄伟,四周石峰兀立,翠岗起伏,群山环绕、溪流纵横,云深如海。青竹、茶园点缀其间,显得分外秀丽,年平均气温15℃左右,年降雨量为1600～1700mm,由于有优越的植茶生态环境,所产毛尖茶素以香高、味醇而闻名。官庄毛尖茶具有高山云雾优质茶的自然品质,内含物极为丰富,经省茶叶科研部门多次测定,茶多酚含量为26.75%,氨基酸3.35%,咖啡碱5.0%,水浸出物37.65%,儿茶素总量156.36mg/g。
