在大学外语教学中,教师往往发现学生很难写出在句子和结构,尤其是词汇上地道的英语文章,其中不乏很多汉语味十足的作文。这往往是由于学生对英语的写作和思维习惯不够熟悉,无法用英语表达相对复杂的思想。当出现这种情况时,学生往往下意识地采用汉语的表达方式,从而导致了其英语习作上的一些通病。作为教师,此时就必须指出汉语与英语写作上的一些本质的差别来帮助学生,并提出建议加以解决。
In college foreign language teaching, teachers often find it hard for students to write authentic English articles in sentences and structures, especially in vocabulary. Many of them are Chinese-flavored essays. This is often due to students’ lack of familiarity with English writing and thinking habits, and their inability to express relatively complex ideas in English. When this happens, students often subconsciously use Chinese expressions, leading to some common problems in their English writing. As a teacher, at this point, we must point out some essential differences between Chinese and English writing to help students and make recommendations to solve them.
