沙棘是一种珍贵的野生植物,其果实富含多种营养成份和生物活性物质,号称“维生素C之王”,具有极高的食用价值和药用价值。沙棘在山西省吕梁山区分布较广,资源极其丰富。如今,在吕梁山脉的深处,一颗熠熠生辉的沙棘产业明星——交口县沙棘饮料厂正悄然崛起。该企业经过10余年的风雨历程,已由一个小加工作坊发展成为国内沙棘行业效益最好的企业之一,成为吕梁地区农业产业化的龙头企业,位居交口县“五大农业龙头企业”之首。该企业正依托沙棘产业带动着当地农民走上脱贫致富之路。
