同安区是我国原发性肝癌(PHC)高发区,肝癌死亡率1976~1981年为44.33/10万,1987~1989年为44.75/10万,1990~1992年为40.74/10万,远高于全国的平均水平。为了弄清同安居民饮用水污染与肝癌高发的关系,我们于1992年11月~1994年10月在同安区开展了居民饮用水卫生学
Tong’an District is a high-risk area of primary liver cancer (PHC) in China. The mortality rate of liver cancer was 44.33 per 100 thousand from 1976 to 1981, 44.75 per 100,000 from 1987 to 1989, and 40.74 per cent from 1990 to 1992. 100,000, far higher than the national average. In order to clarify the relationship between drinking water pollution and the high incidence of liver cancer among Tongan residents, we launched the residents’ drinking water hygiene in Tongan District from November 1992 to October 1994.
