本文综述最近全国各特殊钢厂推广试验绝热帽口情况,讨论了当前普遍存在的绝热板使用后残灰刺激工人皮肤“发痛”“发痒”,和钢锭帽口线下增炭严重的二大难题。着重研究了如何制造不发痛痒的绝热板,现已初步研制成功,准备推广中。前言采用绝热帽口铸造镇静钢锭,是当前世界上模铸工艺一项重大技术革新。明显的效果是,可以比现行材质制成帽口提高成材率5—10%,现在世界各国冶金工厂都已广泛应用。但绝热板的制造工艺没有公开,仍属专利。
