范慧民教授1956年于北京医学院医疗系毕业后,在北京协和医院工作,1963年调至北京妇产医院。她从事妇科专业和计划生育专业工作41年,是计划生育专家、教授、主任医师。她还担任了中华医学会计划生育学会常务理事、中华医学会北京分会计划生育学会理事、卫生部医疗卫生技术鉴定咨询专家、《北京医学》和《生殖医学》杂志编委等多项社会职务。
After graduating from the Medical Department of Beijing Medical College in 1956, Professor Fan Huimin worked in Peking Union Medical College Hospital and was transferred to Beijing Maternity Hospital in 1963. She has 41 years of professional gynecology and family planning and is a family planning expert, professor and chief physician. She has also served as executive director of Family Planning Association of Chinese Medical Association, director of Family Planning Association of Beijing Branch of Chinese Medical Association, consulting expert of medical and health technology appraisal of Ministry of Health, and editorial board member of “Beijing Medical” and “Reproductive Medicine”.
