近几年秦腔艺术之所以长进不大,甚至有些落后,我以为最根本的原因是演员问题。戏曲是综合性艺术,演员则是集于一身的最终体现者。演员的水平,直接关乎演出艺术质量。舞台实践证明,一个好演员,能使不大成熟的戏获得较好的效果,同样,一个不大高明的演员,也可以把好戏演得砸了锅。剧本的人物和情节,导演的构思和创造,离开了演员的表演,一切都将化为乌有。京剧艺术大师肖长华先生说过:“几百年来,戏曲艺术的传宗接代主要是靠人,一代一代地接续下来,后浪逐前浪,新人代旧人。”(《肖长华戏曲谈丛》第十一页)从戏曲发展
