Tongyujing No.1 is a late-maturing middle-late japonica rice variety developed through the systematic selection and identification of Tongzhou Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences and Nantong Crop Cultivation Technical Guide Station. From 2001 to 2002, it participated in the late-maturing mid-season japonica rice regional experiment, production experiment and demonstration of demonstration in Jiangsu Province. It showed high yield, moderate plant type distribution, medium spike type, high seed setting rate, strong tillering ability and good resistance.
