党的十六大确立的全面建设小康社会的目标,是建设有中国特色社会主义经济、政治、文化全面发展的宏伟目标,也是民族地区推进现代化建设的发展战略目标。如何加快民族地区全面建设小康社会的步伐,按照实现总体目标和主要任务的具体要求,值得认真思考。
The goal set by the 16th CPC National Congress in building an overall well-to-do society is the grand goal of building an all-round economic, political and cultural development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and a strategic goal of promoting the modernization drive in ethnic minority areas. How to speed up the pace of building a moderately prosperous society in all ethnic areas is worth serious consideration in accordance with the specific requirements for achieving the overall objectives and major tasks.
