广东省农科院用“印尼花龙水田谷”与晚造“塘竹”杂交所获得的第四代,与该省的早造农家抗病品种“鸡对伦”杂交,于1971年育成中熟品种,命名为窄叶青。去年在龙川县农科所试种,表现熟期与珍珠矮相近;本田生育期89天,全生育期123天,而且有良好的丰产性能。在品比试验中,未施基肥,只施一次氯化铵作追肥的情况下,窄叶青9号亩产862斤,比珍珠矮11号亩产739斤多收123斤,增产16.6%;比龙珍矮亩产780斤多收82斤,
