弘涛,著名学者、书法家。1954年10月1日出生于山东掖县。国家一级美术师、中央党校特聘教授、国防大学特聘教授、中国书法研究院研究员。世界艺术大会中国代表、世界艺术家联合会副秘书长,早年在国家机关工作时便追随著名学者周祖谟、肖彰、陆宗达、大康等诸多名家进行学习。1988年以来成为专业书法理论研究者。作品被人民大会堂安徽厅、中南海、中央军委大楼、新华社等单位悬挂。应中国佛教协会邀请为五台山东台大殿创作的佛联吸引了无数宾客;应邀为北京舞蹈学院创作的《舞》在全社会乃至全世界影响广泛;为北京首届幽默艺术节创作的《笑》、为全国武术节创作的《精气神》、为悉尼奥运会创作的《冠军》和为北京百望山公园创作的作品都成为亮丽的标志。弘涛先生的书法作品还被外交部礼宾司作为国家最高礼品赠送给外国首脑。弘涛的书法理论著作有:《中国书法论》、《中国书法构图学》、《中国书法构图艺术》、《怎样学习硬笔书法》、52集电视纪录片稿本《中国书魂》等。
