October 11, 2008, under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government and Futian District People’s Government, the ICC hosted by China Electronics and Information Industry Development Research Institute (CCID), ICC hosted by China Power Grid Information Technology Co., Ltd. (International Components Center) was officially opened in Huaqiang North of Shenzhen. All major manufacturers and distributors of electronic components represented by Intel, AMD, Freescale, ADI, Tyco Electronics, Avnet, Arrow, DLP, and Fulbright co-operate in ICC and are established with world-leading technologies
