为隆重纪念毛泽东同志《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》发表五十周年、贯彻落实湖北省委关于发展本省文艺创作新格局的精神、检阅近年全省创作成果、促进各剧种间的相互学习与交流、大力推动全省戏剧创作发展,由湖北省文化厅、中国戏剧家协会湖北分会联合举办的湖北省戏剧剧种调演于1992年5月23日至6月5日在武昌举行。大会进行十三天,由二十六个剧团演出二十七台剧目。参演剧种总计为十三种,囊括了湖北省现存戏剧种类。这些剧种在声腔、表演上自成一
