声言以审美或艺术境界来拯救生命之沉沦,既可以说是现代中国美学的一个传统,也可以说是其中的一个“神话”。持这类救赎神话的学者,非但没有顾及审美经验的瞬间性,也没有顾及人生世相的复杂性。审美经验的瞬间性与生命救赎的永恒性之间的矛盾,决定了审美人生这一提法本身就充满逻辑矛盾。人类历史的残酷事实及其悲怆色彩,则决定了审美对于救赎,总是锦上添花,而非雪中送炭。置这些事实于不顾,奉审美境界为人生最高境界,只能说明我们对审美经验缺乏自识,对美学学科自恋过重。生命救赎是一个复杂而又沉重的永恒课题,对此课题,审美人生这一药方显得过于轻巧。
It is not only a tradition of modern Chinese aesthetics, but also one of the “myths” to save the degradation of life by aesthetic or artistic realm. Scholars holding such myths of redemption have not only failed to take into account the instantaneity of aesthetic experience, nor have they taken into account the complexity of their worldly life. The contradiction between the moment of aesthetic experience and the eternity of life salvation determines the aesthetic life itself is full of logical contradictions. The brutal facts of human history and the color of its grief, it is decided that the aesthetic for salvation, is always icing on the cake, not a timely solution. Regardless of these facts, the aesthetic realm is the highest state in life, which only shows that we lack self-awareness of aesthetic experience and overly narcissistic aesthetic subjects. Redemption of life is a complicated and heavy eternal subject, on this subject, the aesthetic life of this prescription seems too lightweight.
