十二届六中全会决议指出:坚持以马列主义、毛泽东思想为指导,是我国社会主义现代化事业的根本,也是社会主义精神文明建设的根本。坚持还是否定马克思主义的指导,是我们在政治思想领域同资产阶级自由化思潮斗争的中心内容之一。方励之鼓吹马克思主义已经过时,否定马克思主义的指导作用,在部分青年学生中造成了思想混乱。为了分辨是非,清除其不良影响,本文就方励之这方面的言论作一些分析。
The resolution of the 6th Plenary Session of the 12th Central Committee pointed out: Insisting on using Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought as a guide is the foundation of our socialist modernization and the foundation of the socialist spiritual civilization. Insisting or negating the guidance of Marxism is one of the central contents of our struggle against the bourgeois liberalization in the field of political thought. Fang Lizhi's advocacy of Marxism is out of date and denied the guiding role of Marxism, causing confusion among some young students. In order to distinguish between right and wrong and eliminate its negative effects, this article makes some analysis on Fang Lizhi's remarks in this respect.
