湖南瑶岗仙钨矿和长沙矿山研究院的工人、干部、技术人员,贯彻自力更生精神,共同设计试制成功的一台TYZ-300型天井牙轮钻机,已在井下试钻成功。它不仅可钻凿φ216毫米孔,(设计为φ300毫米,但无钻头),而且可扩φ400毫米大孔,实现了通风天井掘进新工艺,从根本上解决了安全防尘问题,工作面粉尘浓度达到国家规定的卫生标准,减轻了劳动强度,提高了钻进效率(与现用的吊罐法相比,效率提高3倍)。至今已贯穿了5个孔(每孔高28米),
