Attorney Memorial is located in Fronteira, a small town in the eastern part of Portugal as a cultural facility designed to arouse public awareness of the community in many ways. The battle that took place on April 6, 1386, profoundly affected the dynastic dispute between the Kingdom of Portugal and the kingdom of Castela at the end of the 14th century. Because it was impossible to build the project on battlefield sites, the City Council approved the establishment of the memorial complex in the heart of the city’s highly visible center, along with an urban park system to simulate and evoke the ancient battlefields of the time. Visiting the memorial center, visitors were able to experience the battlefield from different perspectives, understand history, and experience the field through the oil paintings of the painter Martins Barata
