This experiment was to study the xenotransplantation of neonatal pigs and rats. The results showed that the newborn piglet islet-like cell mass (ICC) could correct the hyperglycemia in diabetic rats. Sodium alginate-polylysine microcapsules could effectively protect the graft survival with an average survival time of 4 months (P <0.01). The microcapsule as a new anti-rejection means that will be applied to a wide range of fields
