答:所谓“六爵”,是太干天国后期的一种爵位制度。我国历代封建王朝在王位之下都设公、侯、伯、子、男五等爵位。太平天国没有袭用五等爵的制度。在太平天国前期,王爵之下,只设侯爵,无其他爵位;在后期,王爵之下另增设义、安、福、燕、像、侯六等爵位,合称“六爵”。为什么要改变爵位的名称?洪仁玕在《钦定英杰归真》一书中作了如下的解释:“今之义、安、福、燕、像、侯六爵胜过古之公、侯、伯、子、男爵多倍矣。盖公、伯、子、男等字是家人儿子之称,以之名官,实属糊混不雅之至。”
