The world’s largest coast station is the PORTISHEAD RADIO in the UK. Communication includes telegraph, telephone and radio transmission, opening a total of 107 circuits. Of which 18 circuits are used to answer the berth calls; 30 circuits are used to inform the same vessel; 6 circuits are used to broadcast the notification; and the remaining circuits are used to regularly broadcast meteorological reports and navigation warnings.
