翻译活动历史悠久,是一场促进人类进行跨文化交流的饕餮盛宴,汉语文化词语中则蕴含着丰富的中华文化,而如何进行准确的翻译也尤其重要。本文将在翻译特性的视域下,从社会性、文化性、符号转换性、创造性、历史性这五个翻译特性视角出发,探究汉语文化负载词语英译。再根据去字梏、重组句、建空间三个原则,结合具体实例探析汉语文化负载词语英译的意义再生。
Translation has a long history and is a gluttonous feast that promotes humanity’s cross-cultural exchanges. Chinese cultural words contain a wealth of Chinese culture, and it is also of particular importance to carry out accurate translation. This essay explores the English translation of Chinese culturally loaded words from the perspective of translation characteristics from the perspectives of social, cultural, symbolic, creative, and historical translation. Then according to the three principles of going to the word, reorganizing the sentence and building the space, the article tries to analyze the meaning regeneration of the English translation of Chinese culturally loaded words with concrete examples.
