In the night, on a train bound for Boston, a girl in a red dress and black coat. Her melancholy look caught the attention of Michael Sprague, a professor of biology at Boston University who was sitting aside. From time to time, when the girl looked out of the window thoughtfully, and sometimes wiped her tears with her handkerchief, Sprague approached her and the train entered Boston Station. Sprague got off with the girl. The girl took a few steps and severely pulled the brooch out of the red dress and flung it into the trash. Sprague immediately drove off a few steps to pick up the pin, who knows the girl turned around again to get back the pin, left a cold: “This is my loss.”
