长吻(鱼危)又称江团、(鱼危)鱼,是我国名贵的淡水鱼类,以肉质细嫩,肉肥味美而著称。尤其是鱼膘特别肥厚,为名贵鱼肚,食者无不称赞。渔谚有“不食江团,不知鱼味”之说。长吻(鱼危)主要分布在长江上游及支流,近年来,由于长期过度捕捞,使江河的长吻(鱼危)资源严重缺少,为保护这一名贵鱼种资源,开展人工养殖长吻(鱼危)鱼大有可为。广东省经过近一年的试养,收到了较好的养殖效果,并带来显著的经济效益,现推广其经验如下:
