巴金,1904年11月25日生于四川成都北门正通顺街一个封建官僚地主家庭,本名李尧棠、字芾甘,取自《诗经》中《召南·甘棠》首句“蔽芾甘棠”。巴金的幼年是在浓浓的爱中度过的,这爱影响他的心灵和性格,成为他生命的营养、事业的酵母。特别是母亲播下的爱的种子,在巴金的心里生根发芽,让他“感受到了爱,认识了爱,才知道把爱分给别人,才想对自己以外的人做一些事情”。这样的爱一直流淌在巴金的家中。
Ba Jin, born on November 25, 1904, is a feudal bureaucratic landlord family of North Gate Zhengshun Street, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. His real name is Li Yaotang. He borrows from the first sentence of “Zhao Nan Kutang” in the “Book of Songs” . Ba’jin’s childhood was spent in deep love, which affected his mind and character, and became the yeast of the nutrition and cause of his life. In particular, the seeds of love sowing by his mother took root in Ba Jin’s heart and made him “feel love and know love, and only know that giving love to others would only want to do something for someone other than himself.” Such love has been flowing in the home of Ba Jin.
