由柳州铁路局办公室和电算所共同开发的“机关文秘档办公自动化微机网络系统”，于七月一日通过柳州铁路局技术鉴定。该系统是由3+以太网联成的局域网，联接了局办公室秘书科、文书科、档案科、收发室、值班室和党委办公室六个工作站。除“四通”字符处理软件外，编程语言均采用dBaseⅡplus。网络应用软件由发文处理子系统、收文处理子系统、档案管理子系统构成。子系统在程序结构上是完全独立的，信息资源共享。
