在进行两种社会制度的对比中,有的人习惯用人均国民生产总值指标同世界上发达国家作简单类比。这样比的结果,我国在产值百万以上的120多个国家中位次列于倒数第20位左右。有人因此而灰心丧气,认为社会主义不如资本主义。笔者以为,这种脱离客观实际的比较方法,至少在四个方面是不科学的。首先,各国计入国民生产总值的项目是有差异的。国际金融组织所公布的世界各国国民生产总值,是一个国家在一年内生产的全部最终产品和服务的价值的总和,它既包括物质生产部门创造的总价值,也包括非物质生产部门
In comparing the two social systems, some people are accustomed to making a simple analogy with the developed countries in the world by using the per-capita gross national product (GNP) indicator. As a result of this comparison, China ranks 20th in the penultimate rank among the more than 120 countries that produce more than 1 million yuan. Some people are therefore discouraged and think that socialism is inferior to capitalism. In my opinion, this comparative method that is out of objective reality is unscientific in at least four aspects. First, there are differences between countries in terms of gross domestic product. The gross national product of various countries in the world, as published by international financial organizations, is the sum of the values of all the final products and services produced by a country within one year. It includes both the total value created by the material production sector and the non-material production sector
