本文介绍一种代替守车车长的自动风压监测语音通信装置。该设备可在列车行进全过程中。当司机操纵制动阀时，自动反馈给司机尾部风压信息。本装置具有良好的低温工作特性（可在—４０℃条件下全行程正常工作）和防盗报警功能，是取消守车后确保列车安全的先进监测装置。
