基地情况基地位于大别山革命老区、全国贫困县——河南信阳新县(距信阳车程2小时、武汉2.5小时)西河村。西河村距离县城约20公里,是山区中的一个自然村。村庄一方面具有较丰富的自然、人文景观:风水山林、清末民初古民居群、祠堂、古树、河流、稻田、竹林等;另一方面交通闭塞、经济落后、缺乏活力、空巢情况严重,常住村民大多为留守老弱儿童和智障村民。项目基地位于村庄南侧,占地3700余亩,原为20世纪50年代的粮库——西河粮油交易所。基地内现存建筑5座,双坡顶,砖石结构:2座为粮仓,体型硕大,空间封闭,3座为后勤用房。建筑保存较完好,但已基本废弃。

There are 5 existing buildings in the base, double-dip top and masonry structures: 2 are granaries, large in size and close in space, and 3 are logistical houses. The building is well preserved, but it has basically been abandoned.
