现代建筑越建越高,越建越大,同时其建筑空间也朝着多层次、多功能发展,目的在于为人们提供良好的生活环境和工作条件。在同一幢建筑物中,既要求有小开间的住宅,又要求有大空间的商场;既被设计为办公室,又要求有大空间的停车场。设计综合功能的建筑是现代高层建筑的大潮流。尤其是现代大城市用地紧张以及复杂的立体交叉更需要如此。因而,伴随这种建筑物的建筑结构——转换层结构应运而生。转换层属于水平结构,用它去改变下方楼层柱子
