如果说,南宁的摩托车在强烈地张扬着一种现代意识的话,而那鳞次栉比的骑楼,却在默默地诉说着南宁的颇具底蕴的文化传统。南宁历史上作为一个商埠,因水路交通的便利而得以发达。广州乃至南洋的建筑风格,对南宁的影响是很大的。作为代表性的建筑,就是那北方城市极为少见的骑楼。一座座临街的小楼,不约而同地伸出那笔直的两条长腿,稳稳当当地“骑”在了人行道上。南宁的兴宁路,就是这种风味。
