Snowball effect There is such a story in New Testament Matthew. Before a king went away, he gave each of the three servants a silver, and told him: You go to business, and when I come back, come meet me again. When the king returned, the first servant said: Master, you give me a silver, I have earned 10. Thus, the king rewarded him 10 cities. The second servant reported: Master, you give me a silver, I have earned 5 spindles. Thus, the king rewarded him 5 cities. The third servant reported: Master, you give me a silver bullion, I have been wrapped in a handkerchief, fear of loss, has not come up. So the King ordered the first servant of a third servant to be repayed with 1 silver, saying: All who have little will take away all that he has. All that is many shall be given to him, that he may know better and better.
