中国古典诗歌是文学上的瑰宝,其翻译不仅涉及了对古诗词原文的理解,也涉及了译语读者对译文的理解。在翻译的理解阶段,即对源语的解码阶段,运用意象图式理论正确的解码是译者译好诗歌的关键。本文以中国古诗歌的英译为研究对象,来阐释中国诗词在英译中的意象图式。
Chinese classical poetry is a literary gem whose translation involves not only the understanding of the original texts of ancient poems but also the readers’ understanding of the translated texts. In the stage of comprehension of translation, that is, decoding the source language, the correct decoding using image schema theory is the key to the translator’s translation of good poetry. This article takes the English translation of Chinese ancient poetry as the research object to explain the image schema of Chinese poetry in English translation.
