经过2年时间的酝酿、发动和筹备,由中国油画学会发起并会同文化部艺术司、中国美术馆、中国美术家协会油画艺术委员会共同主办的《大河上下——新时期中国油画回顾展》于2005年11月26日在中国美术馆开幕,并于2005年12月7日拉下帷幕。应该说,这是一次高水平的油画展。它集中展示了自1976年文革结束至今三十年来对推动中国油画发展具有价值的代表性作品249件,其中三分之二的作品来自国内各美术馆、博物馆、收藏家和艺术机构,三分之一作品由画家自藏,充分展现了中国当代油画的发展进程,具有重要的学术和历史研究价值。适时以《新时期中国油画论坛》为主题的学术研讨会也同期召开。会议对中国近30年来油画发展的历程进行回顾和总结,并探讨其未来的发展方向,届时有40多位批评家、评论家、油画家出席此次研讨会。下面是部分与会代表的发言摘要。
After two years of brewing, mobilization and preparation, initiated by the Chinese Oil Painting Society and co-sponsored by the Art Department of the Ministry of Culture, the National Art Museum of China and the Oil Painting Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, November 26, 2005 in China Art Museum opened, and in December 7, 2005 pull down the curtain. It should be said that this is a high-level oil painting exhibition. It shows a total of 249 representative works of value from 30 years since the end of the Cultural Revolution in 1976 to promote the development of Chinese oil painting. Two thirds of the works come from domestic art galleries, museums, collectors and art institutions. One of the works by the artist self-possession, fully demonstrated the development of contemporary Chinese painting process, has important academic and historical research value. The symposium on the theme of “China Oil Painting Forum in the New Era” was also held in due course. The conference reviewed and summarized the development of oil painting in the past 30 years in China and discussed its future development direction. More than 40 critics, critics and oil painters attended the seminar. The following is a summary of speeches made by some of the delegates.
