关于“二五减租”(即减租百分之二十五)的口号,是什么时候、由谁最先提出来的,历来说法不一。有说是孙中山先生提出的。照此说法,这个口号的提出最迟不能晚于1925年3月12日孙中山逝世之前。但没有任何材料能证明这种说法。有说是1926年10月国民党中央与各省党部联席会议提出的。可是在此之前两个月,即8月间广东省农协执委扩大会议就提到了这个口号。根据现在查阅到的材料,这个口号既不是孙中山、也不是国民党中
The slogan of “slogan” (that is, a reduction of 25% in rent) has come from different sources when first proposed. It is said that Mr. Sun Yat-sen put forward. In this view, this slogan should be submitted no later than before Sun Yat-sen’s death on March 12, 1925. But there is no material to prove this. It is said that in October 1926 the KMT Central Committee and provincial ministries proposed a joint meeting. However, two months before that, that is, in August the Guangdong Provincial Association of Agricultural Executives extended its meeting referred to this slogan.
