当前,控制好农村地区的社会治安,对于巩固严打整治斗争成果,确保社会长治久安具有极其重要的意义。近年来,温岭市牧屿镇的干部群众始终坚持党委领导下的专门工作与群众路线相结合,认准目标,抓住重点,把上级部署和本地实际结合起来,把坚持完善和开拓创新统一起来,打防并举,重在防范,标本兼治,重在治本,确保了牧屿地区经济和治安的良性互动、协调发展,创造了新形势下农村治安控制的“牧屿经验”。
