此项研究是在1990年预备试验的基石出上,于1991~1992年在大庆石油管理局所属各农工商分公司进行的,所谓玉米畦作是在土壤整平的基础上,运用配套畦作覆膜机在覆膜的同时做畦子。畦宽1.2米、畦上双行,畦上行距40~45厘米,畦间行距75~80厘米。与70厘米垅作相比,具有合理密植(可以提高密度30%左右),增强田间通透性,提高对面积指数,可以充分利用光、热、土壤肥力等自然资源,充分发挥覆膜增产潜力。试验结果表明:畦作覆膜产量高,两年200公顷,平均亩产836.6公斤,最高亩产992.5公斤,平均比垅作增产35.2%,最高增产53.4%。亩增收85.6元,并且,这种栽培方法容易操作,具有一定的科学性和实用性,是目前北方高寒地区玉米再高产的新途径。
