日本作家酒井顺子在《都与京》这本书中引用了一个有趣的统计,指出在日本的侦探推理剧中,最常发生案件的地方依序分别是京都府、北海道与长野县,理由并非当地治安不好,而是这几处为日本人最向往的国内观光地点前三名,选此作为事件发生的舞台能获得较高的收视率!姑且不论这个“推理”的正确性,但古称信州的长野县的确为日本重要的观光县份,包括轻井泽、上高地、黑部、立山、松元、长野市,JR小海线途经的八岳高原,以及诹访湖等,都与长野县有关,可见其风光之秀丽与观光资源之丰富。
