“中国白玉文化节”举办 为了弘扬中国博大精深的传统文化和艺术瑰宝,满足众多的玉器爱好者、收藏者、消费者对中国白玉的需求热情,增进市民对玉文化的了解,培养市民玉器收藏、佩饰的高雅审美情趣,上海工艺美术商厦特在2001年上海旅游节期间,举办“中国白玉文化节”。期间,举办单位通过中国白玉雕刻摆件、挂件精品展;中国白玉吉祥佩饰物展销;中国白玉推介暨宝玉石鉴赏知识讲座;玉文化知识有奖竞答;中国白玉原石和玉雕工艺现场展、演示和“白玉仙子”评选等系列活动,向市民展示中国玉文化的深厚的底蕴和魅力。
