Intelligence is an important part of children’s mental health research. Carrying out the investigation in this aspect is of practical significance for studying the mental health status of children. To initially grasp the level of intellectual development of children in the region, we conducted a survey of children in urban and rural areas in Nanning, Guangxi in April 1986.
